1.What’s your name and tell us a little bit about yourself? My Real Name is Tavarus Inabinet but my artist name is “Titan”.
2.Where are you from? And what affect does that have on your music? I was adopted and I am from Easley South Carolina it had a positive effect because my mom was a piano player in church.
3.What was highest and lowest point in your career? My highest Point would have to be when I wrote and recorded my first official song in a official studio setup. My lowest point I would have to say is when the studio I started and built a bond with shut down due to the engineer taking an IT job at Georgia Tech. I had to find another studio to record my music.
4.How do you separate your personal life from your music life and how does how does the music industry affect your personal life? I keep my family & Loved ones in my music. I also talk about what I do or what I’ve been thru or what I’m going to do, I think Authenticity is always important, people like what’s real or they can feel, or what they can relate to.
5.What project/track means the most to and which project/track are you proudest of? I did a track some years ago called “My way or the highway” it meant a lot because It was literally just that! I didn’t want to follow anyone’s trend or anybodies movement it was do it my way or go home.
6.How do you separate yourself from other artist? I stay consistent and constantly working. I pray and manifest good energy and display and engage in good spirits. I believe in showing that to others. I’m naturally good at uplifting. I can also play instruments and actually read music.
7. Who do you feel is your biggest competitor? Myself, only I can stop me.
8.What is the hardest part of the music industry? Saturation! Everybody is literally doing it now and everybody almost sounds the same. So It’s hard not sound like the next man and not get over looked
9.What are your thoughts on how the rap game has changed? it has changed a lot but I feel like it may change again for the better and the authenticity and the creativity will be better.
10.Who or what has the biggest impact on your career? I lost a real close friend of mine back in 2011. His name was Terrence Crite. He used to always listen to my music and he told me to never quit, and always stay in my own world with it, people will appreciate me more for it. I never forgot that. It keeps me going
11. What can we look forward to seeing in the future from you? I just released a project called “Titanium 2” back on March 16th. It’s on all streaming Platforms and mixtape sites. I’m currently working on visuals and looking to expand my brand.
